Bambu Lab hotends have an all-in-one design with heatsink, throat, heater block, and nozzle as a single unit. Having this design allows Bambu Lab hotend to heat up much faster than a regular hotend and to prevent oozing or leaking filament between the nozzle and the heat break interface.
Bambu Lab hotends are sold both as a single Hotend with Nozzle (consists of the heatsink, throat, heater block, and nozzle), and as a Complete Hotend Assembly (consists of Hotend with Nozzle, plus cooling fan, ceramic heater, thermistor, and silicone sock).
The Complete Hotend Assembly is pre-assembled and ready to use in your Bambu Lab 3D printer. If you need to change your nozzle diameter, you can just replace the Hotend with Nozzle on your original Complete Hotend Assembly. Or you can directly replace the whole Complete Hotend Assembly.
*The connectors of Complete Hotend Assembly are different between X1 Series version and P1P version. Please confirm your printer model and select the relevant version before purchase
With its heavy-duty and long service life, the complete hotend assembly can be easily installed and replaced. Learn more about complete hotend replacement on Bambu Lab Wiki.
